Learn the secret of Japanese cooking from the highly experienced Japanese Head Chef, Aki, at the JW Marriott Hotel in Sukhumvit Road. On every first Saturday of the month Chef Aki reveals all his cooking secrets, from choosing the right ingredients to step-by-step instructions to prepare the most delectable Japanese food. This year Chef Aki adds more fun to his cooking class and workshop with a teppanyaki demonstration and hands-on session for you to also learn this exciting Japanese cooking style. Guests will learn how to prepare sake cocktail, sushi, Japanese soup, Japanese appetizers, teppanyaki and dessert, followed by a scrumptious lunch at Nami Teppanyaki Steakhouse. Chef Aki has extensive experience in traditional Japanese cooking. Starting his career at the Chef School in Tokyo, he worked in several traditional Japanese restaurants in Tokyo before moving to gain more experience in New York and Los Angeles for over 13 years. Prior to this appointment, he was the Head Chef at Wasabi Sabi Restaurant, a famous Japanese Restaurant in Hong Kong. Each participant will receive a specially designed apron and a cooking class certificate. The cost is 1,900 baht (net) per person.
