The Eugenia embodies is an old world-style architectural beauty – a late 19-century colonial-style house, tastefully furnished by its owner in the heart of down town Bangkok. It offers an experience for travellers with refined taste who seek to enjoy more than a touch of the Fabled East. Each of the 12 suites features antique furniture and fittings, including four-poster beds, settees, dressers, vintage desks and hand-beaten copper bathtubs.
The lobby, the reception area, the cafe, the library and the lounge are set on the ground floor while all the twelve guest rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors in the main building. The swimming pool and the Thai pavilion are set in the rear courtyard, nestled in swaying palm trees. As to be expected of such neo-colonial structures, there is no elevator in the building to preserve its authenticity, but the hotel’s staffs are on hand to assist with any luggage.
