FOOD

What sets this Italian restaurant apart from the rest is a sense of casualness that pervades throughout its decor, setting and food. Dishes are expertly put together in a style that befits a worldclass hotel, but with none of the pretentiousness that sometimes gets in the way of the actual dish. An example of this is pork medallions served over tortellini; tender pork covers a nice serving of tortellini with no distractions. Tuscan potato soup with porcini mushroom has a delicate bite and is, too, unhindered by bells and whistles. There is a very select seafood menu with Norwegian salmon grilled with a serving of mashed potatoes being the top pick. There is also a good selection of salads and a good dessert menu.
