FOOD

This restaurant offers a wide range of sandwiches, creative pasta dishes and jacket potatoes with a wide selection of fillings. Also on the menu are a range of burgers and an array of salads. There is also a good variety of soups from cream of tomato to bouillabaisse, all worth trying. The salads here are served in big portions and are good to share as appetisers. Highly recommended are taco salad and salad with pan-fried foie gras, both excellent. Bacon cheese burger comes with delicious caramelised onions and fat french fries. For some fusion, try spaghetti with garlic, chilli and crispy pork knuckle, one of the best dishes here. Vanilla also offers an assortment of crepes with 10 different fillings; crepe filled with parma ham and mascarpone cheese is particularly good.
