Smart and upholstered enough to be one of Bangkok's premier English restaurants.

FOOD

The Cup is comfortable and the menu reflects this. There is Bangkok's perhaps only hydroponic salad bar to start with, which is why The Cup provides a litany of salads from classic caesar, greek and tuna to a smoked duck breast salad with blackberry and port sauce that is a meal in itself. In true English style the menu's main attractions are its roast and meat entrees. Roast pork and lamb are done perfectly and are the reason why so many patrons are loyal to The Cup. Several steak entrees are included in the menu, and each is given the choice of sauces and vegetable to go with it, thus multiplying options. There is little in the way of fish dishes aside from a very filling and fresh grilled salmon with a choice of three different sauces to accompany. Desserts are prepared daily and are totally engrossing.
