FOOD
Authentic Spanish culinary delights are presented by chef Xavier Paloma. Start with gazpacho, or chilled tomato and vegetable soup. Follow this with a selection of salads that are excellently dressed, especially tomato and artichoke, and grilled goat cheese and red pepper salad. tortillas de patatas, potato and onion omelette, is a slighty salty but interesting alternative. Prawns in a spicy garlic sauce is well suited to local Thai palates. Slightly oily, grilled baby squid, perfectly balanced by the tang of lemons is very successful. Paella de Mariscos, which is very much like Thai fried rice, comes in a generous portion and is served in a large pan. Featuring squid, clams, prawns, and very fresh mussels, the overall taste of this dish is exceptional. For dessert, try chocolate mousse and pear in wine sauce.
