Cooked in a traditional clay oven,
tandoori chicken embodies all that is best about Indian
cuisine. The wood fire gives the chicken a unique
flavour, which is immensely enhanced by a dash of lime.
Chicken tikka masala, Britain's national dish, is popular
or for those who prefer more authentic Indian fare there
is the mutton rogan josh. The food is primarily of North
Indian origin but there are a number of southern dishes
on offer including a Goan fish curry which will appeal to
those who prefer milder flavours. There are a number of
other seafood dishes and shrimp chaat is a favourite.
Tandoor, situated in the Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom, offers a taste of India which will be extremely familiar to British visitors. The menu contains traditional Indian dishes at very reasonable prices and diners are regaled with live Indian music from a sitar player and singer. All the food is prepared by an Indian chef
