FOOD:

Every dish is prepared fresh to order. A selection of sushi nigiri brings mackerel, salmon and tuna neatly tied with a seaweed strip on a neat rice bed. Negitoro don presents a mix of raw tuna and spring onion minced on top of a mix of rice, seaweed and pickles. For those preferring cooked fish, gandara saikyouyaki, grilled black cod with special miso sauce, is served moist on the inside and slightly crisp and darkened at the edges and just flakes nicely on the chopsticks. Other delights on the menu include chawan mushi, a savoury egg custard with hidden nuggets of pork, fish and pickles, and gyu shabu salad with the beef cut extra thin and lightly seared, served with lettuce and a house dressing.
