Suan Thip serves traditional Thai food on traditional Thai pottery and ceramics. Recommended appetisers include pork satay and pa pia sod. Follow this with one of the main course sets such as light curry or grilled chicken. Khaomun som tam is also quite delicious, combining well-cooked rice with fresh som tam and a small side offering of tangy curry. Tom kaa kai is rich and supple with a hint of lime that really brings out the best in the dish. Beef panaeng is similarly cooked, creamy with a taste of lime mixed in with the curry that makes it the must-have dish at Suan Thip. To cool off after such a spice-heavy meal, fresh fruit is the best bet for dessert.

Setting

Sit by the river or the wellmanicured garden, it doesn't matter as both places transport you out of the city into lush otherworldly scenery.
