Suan Thip receives constant praise for unique signature recipes and Thai home-made cuisine. It also prepares selections from around the kingdom to perfection. The food is presented in traditional fashion with the right condiments to harmoniously accompany each dish. Eating Thai style, it is best to order a variety of dishes and nibble. Chicken satay (the house special), catfish salad served with young mango, chicken wrapped in pandanus leaves and pomelo and prawn salad are an excellent, and traditional, way of getting a meal started. There is also an interesting assortment of shrimp paste dips. Other house specials are Suan Thip light curry and kaeng kee lek, a herb curry served with salted fish. Dessert selections are seasonal fresh fruits, refreshing ice preparations and other traditional offerings.
