FOOD

Senor Pico goes way beyond the overflowing plates of refried beans and rice that passes for Mexican food in Bangkok. Mexican chef David Cruz prepare sserious Mexican creations that prepares serious Mexican creations that are a fiesta in themselves. Home-made salsa, guacamole and corn chips are served upon arrival and tempt the diner to move on to one of a dozen tempting margarita combinations. Senor Pico prides itself on unusual creations, and nothing might be more unusual to a Mexican eatery than lamb. The lamb chops are some of the biggest and juiciest to be found in Bangkok. For Mexican seafood lovers there is a small but intriguing selection; seafood-stuffed crab shell is excellent on its own or with a spicy salsa to accompany. Enchiladas are made with marinated beef, chicken, prawns or pork and are meals in themselves.
