The menu consists of many of the
standard dishes one finds at Italian restaurants, but Sala
Rossa's use of fresh and imported ingredients takes
things up a notch. White truffle soup is a popular choice,
and the rich creamy texture and earthy flavour does
not disappoint. Another scrumptious dish is goose liver
served with balsamic and cranberry sauce. The liver is
cooked perfectly, soft and buttery on the inside with
some texture on the outside, which goes well with the
fresh rocket leaves, and tartness of the peach slices and
cranberry sauce that accompany this dish. Sala Rossa's
special menu of angel hair pasta with sea crab comes in
a generous portion but will still leave you wanting more.
And don't forget to order tiramisu, one of the few in
Bangkok to be made properly.

Sala Rossa is decorated like an authentic Italian trattoria, with red brick, bottle-lined walls and white tablecloths. Staff is prompt, polite and welltrained.
