Red is set in a spacious, beautiful house with elegant yet modern decor. Diners can choose between two indoor seating areas and dining al fresco by the fountain. There is also a private room.

FOOD

Chef Gagan Anand's creations are modern, healthful and full of surprises. the innovative menu features unique dishes found only at Red such as risotto and pasta. Begin with signature appetiser makhmali malai tikka. Served on a slate plate, big chunks of soft chicken come in a creamy sauce flavoured with nuts. A dish that must be tried is gucchi aur khum risotto made from morels that are slowly braised with fresh mushrooms and rice. Perfect with any of Red's Indian breads, the home-style yellow dal fry is a delightfully light and fine-tasting adaptation of the traditional lentil dish. the chef's speciality is dal red, a black lentil recipe that has been cooked for 24 hours. Also choose from a selection of vegetarian, chicken, mutton and seafood curries. For dessert, try anjeer aur aam ki kulfi, home-made mango and fig ice cream.
