Relocated from Sathorn, Patara at Thonglor is decked out in sleek wooden Thai style inside a renovated house. The decor screams classy elegance.

FOOD

The chef has been trained to create dishes that will not come as too much of a surprise for Thai food beginners. having said that, Thai taste buds will find the creations equally delectable - just let the staff know if you want the authentic Thai taste. if you're feeling adventurous, this is probably the best place to order unconventional dishes. Veal osso bucco in northern yellow curry, and prawns and crisp Chinese beignets tossed in lime lemongrass salsa are guaranteed to draw ooh's and ah's from both the novice and the well-trained tongue. For the main courses, stir-fried egg noodles with soft-shell crab in black pepper sauce is impeccably done. To make it an unforgettable Patara experience, crisp whole garoupa in lemongrass sauce is a must. There is a limited selection of desserts.
