SETTING
Spread over two floors, the downstairs is bright and airy with seating in the main restaurant as well as in a conservatory and al fresco. Upstairs is a bar-cum-restaurant.
FOOD
Pandanus serves a mixture of fusion, Thai and Italian cuisine. the extensive menu offers an interesting array of choices. Grilled scallops is a tasty appetiser, served on a bed of sauteed spinach and mozzarella cheese. Also recommended is prawn kebab on a lemongrass skewer. healthy choices include a delicious selection of salads; mixed green salad prepared with grilled salmon and vinaigrette dressing is particularly good. The pasta selections demonstrates a good mix of East and West: try spaghetti with fresh clams, garlic, cream and Thai basil, or fettuccini with chicken, coconut milk and tom kha spice. Pandanus is famous for its soft-shell crabs, served with a choice of sauces. Special Thai omelette with northeastern-style sausages and sweet basil goes perfectly with a massaman curry. From a great choice of desserts, banoffee pie is a house speciality.
