A good starter is appesante spadellate su letto di pure'di carotem, which presents tender scallops on a delicious bed of carrot puree. Insalata caprese con mozzarella di bufala is a lighter way to begin that is refreshing, if slightly mundane. Crispy schiacciatina Palazzo pizza with garlic, parma ham, rocket, fresh tomato and buffalo mozzarella is a great combination of flavourful and complementary toppings. Slow-cooked lamb osso buco with risotto will please fans of this hearty dish. Gratinated salmon with pepper bell and olive is moist and flavourful. For dessert, cioccolata calda, warm chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream, goes nicely with an espresso. 335

Down-to-earth Italian fare prepared by chef Davide Spighi in an unassuming, dimly lit dining room offers a good venue for a casual meal with friends or work colleagues. Service is inconsistent, however, with some staff doing a good job while others could improve their attitude.
