The combination of cuisines leads to a choice of 100 different dishes. Maybe start with fattouch, a light Lebanese-style salad topped with croutons, beans and garlic. From the Japanese list, uzaka su (eel and seaweed in vinaigrette) is a bracing mixture of chewy flesh and sour dressing. From Mes Amis, duck confit in orange sauce cries out for attention, the sauce delicate, the crispy skin lightly peppered. The Chinese section offers almost 30 varieties of noodle, with a strong Hong Kong slant. The Indian menu will be particularly welcome to vegetarians, while the Thai selection from Blue Elephant leans to fusion.

Orangery combines selections from six of Bangkok's best restaurants in a spacious dining area dominated by huge windows, green foliage and striking orange furnishing.
