Every dish on the extensive menu is accompanied by a picture and English-language explanation making it an excellent introduction to Thai food for the uninitiated. There is a good variety of options including unique signature dishes such as boat noodles. Seafood dishes such as pla kung and poo nim tod makham are a speciality although just about every type of Thai cuisine is available. The food arrives fast but is surprisingly good, particularly given that it is relatively inexpensive. Nara is a favourite haunt for high-society Thais despite its modest surroundings in the lower level of Erawan Bangkok. There is also much to recommend this restaurant to foreigners with an extensive selection of Thai dishes on offer all at a very reasonable price.
