SETTING

Recently opened at the Esplanade, Moom Muum Park has a Thai decor and modern table settings inside and comfy seating on an outside balcony in the mall. There is also an outdoor live music area for night-time entertainment.

FOOD

The restaurant serves food from three separate stations, rather like a food court. The eclectic menu features traditional Thai, Thai-Chinese and Italian dishes of good quality. Start with spicy beef salad with Thai eggplant, tasty sticky grilled beef and lightly spiced Moom-Muum steamed river prawns. Minced duck with crispy skin is a delicious dish that goes very well with sticky rice, while noodles with pork is a filling lunch treat. Spaghetti carbonara is surprisingly good and nearly as tasty as the same dish in an Italian restaurant: creamy, delicious, lots of crispy bacon. Nizarda salad combines tuna and fresh vegetables under a zesty dressing. For dessert, try soft chocolate cake or a slice of blueberry cheese pie.
