FOOD
This friendly newcomer features generous portions of fresh food from an eclectic menu. Originally a self-styled Mongolian BBQ where chefs prepare a variety of meat, seafood, vegetables and noodles selected by guests, the menu now includes lame-broiled seafood, steaks and burgers, and Thai favourites like phad phak boong and yum woonsen. At least one diner should order total Mongo's, a smorgasbord of grilled foods, served with soup and bread. The lame-broiled seafood, hearty beef burgers and high-quality imported Australian beef and kangaroo steaks are done to taste with hints of rosemary and garlic. Vegetarians should enjoy a variety of fresh noodles, greens and tofu. while waiting, try tender prawn skewers, or maybe shrimp basket, loaded with spiced, breaded fried crustaceans. End with espresso and mango pudding with vanilla sauce.
