Diners are greeted with a pretty little cup of fresh lettuce and other vegetables together with a spicy shredded carrot and radish chili dip which serves to whet the appetite for the relatively limited number of dishes, presented in a pictorial menu. there is a variety of spring rolls on offer including an attractively presented deep-fried salmon version, as well as a crab version wrapped in purple cabbage. Most of these dishes come with caramelised onion and sweet chilli sauce. dumplings are quite sticky but well filled with shrimp, spinach, slices of pork sausage and lettuce. Pork spare ribs fall nicely off the bone and are quite piquantly flavoured. diners should choose one of the tasty pho soups - beef, chicken or shrimp - with thinnish noodles, mint and lemon. desserts are quite sweet and filling but the crepes are relatively plain with ice cream and selected fruit toppings. Overall, the food is fairly tasty if not totally authentic.

Setting

More of a cafe than a restaurant, this stylish Vietnamese eatery is located on the third floor of the Central World shopping complex, where it provides a comfortable respite from the rigours of shopping.
