Though quite simple, the menu offers an excellent choice of Argentina-imported meats and home-made pasta. Marcello Seghedoni, the Italian general manager, takes pleasure in suggesting the dishes that might suit your palate and appetite. Meat lovers will enjoy Argentinian angus beef carpaccio with celery and parmesan shaving as an appetiser, followed by exceptional mouthmelting angus tenderloin with pepper sauce and sauteed potatoes. The al dente pasta is also delicious and presented with a choice of shaved cheese, the selection depending on what the pasta is served with. Italian ice creams are a good final touch for a gargantuan dinner, and if you are still hungry, daily fresh home-made tiramisu is not to be missed.

Setting

Located at the far end of Sukhumvit Soi 31, L'Oasi is not easy to find but the place is worth looking for. The two-storey modern house is nicely decorated with wooden furniture and has white plain walls. There is an outdoor area where you can enjoy your meal sitting next to the swimming pool.
