Food
One might judge this restaurant negatively due to its slightly worn look, however, opinions will change with each dish served. The entrees are superb and the soup a delight. Fish soup is served with nicely toasted garlic bread and tastes wonderful with a bit of parmesan. Recommended dishes include salmon or tuna tartar; the fresh lemon tones down the onions and other herbs that are abundant in the mix. Escargot baked with fresh butter andlots of butter and lots of garlic makes a wonderful appetiser while lamb shank literally melts as you bite into the meat. Pan-fried sole fried in butter and topped with almonds is excellent with its delightful aroma.
Setting
Though in need of a slight renovation, the restaurant has a sweet, French summer feel created by a glassed-in corner in front and lovely decor inside.
