FOOD
Lee Kitchen is a well-established Cantonese restaurant that has been around for 32 years and now with many branches around town. Dim sum is served during lunch only while the a la carte menu focuses on shark's fin and other luxurious dishes divided into sections for abalone, casserole style, hot-plate sizzling style, meats, seafood, rice and noodles. For starters highly recommended is fried dumpling stuffed with Chinese chives; very crispy and not oily at all. Another appetiser, aromatic double-boiled superior shark's fin in clear soup is a luxurious choice. For heartier dishes, try fried crispy duck topped with assorted meat sauce which is flavourful, but a better choice is Thai chicken baked with salt. An exciting dish is fried river lobster in spicy sauce, with crispy lobster topped with loads of garlic and chilli. For meat lovers, try sauteed pork in Chinese tomato sauce, unique in taste and presented in a generous portion. Noodles and rice are also available; fried rice noodles topped with sliced abalone is a good choice while fried rice Yang Chow style is not too heavy. Dessert is limited with only traditional Chinese sweets available.
