Chef Olivier Daniel has created an extensive, recently refreshed menu, showcasing classic French cuisine that will not disappoint a connoisseur. Classic pan-fried frog's legs with butter and garlic is a tasty, hearty starter, although the meat could be more tender. Caesar salad is prepared tableside and has a fabulous garlic kick. Propped up on a vol au vent is a wonderful seafood medley, in which the large prawns are sweet and succulent. Prime Australian lamb with lavender arrives traditionally baked in a casserole dish within a lid of pastry-watch the steam rise from the dish as the rack is served and dressed in front of your eyes. Be wary of large portions, as dessert is a must. Chocolate souffle is delectable, oozing with dark, bitter chocolate and definitely worth a 15-minute wait while sitting back to watch the river traffic pass by.
