The restaurant located in the Pathumwan Princess Hotel has a newly-renovated spacious interior with a modern feel.

FOOD

Start the meal with Kongju's signature dish, goo jeol pan, a do-it-yourself Korean pancake to be filled with sliced meats, vegetables and a special sauce. The perfectly sized pancakes do not fill you up and the speciality does a really good job as an appetiser. Dol sot bi bim bob, a bowl of rice and vegetables with beef cooked together in a wonderful hot sauce, goes perfectly with assorted meats which include beef, chicken and pork; simply grill the meat the way you want to eat with the rice. Wash everything down with a bowl of bean curd soup; the soup is filled with mushrooms, tofu and other vegetables in a mild kimchi soup. The signature dessert here is Korean punch with cinnamon, pine nuts and jujube served hot or with shaved ice.
