SETTING

Located in the Siam City Hotel, the interior is typical Japanese with art works, wicker chairs and wooden tables.

FOOD

Start off with seaweed salad and iriginan, roasted and salted ginko nuts in shell, to boost the appetite. Salmon salad comes with a superb carrot-based salad dressing, but the choice of vegetables could be better. Negi toro temaki is good with a bit of chopped onion mixed in with the toro meat. Imported matsu sashimi is fresh and generously sized. Matsuzaka beef grilled with teriyaki sauce is tender and sweet with just enough teriyaki to allow the meat flavour through. Grilled snowfish is also nicely done leaving the flesh soft but firm while the skin is crisp. Spicy beef roll is an interesting creation which combines grilled beef with sushi rice in the form of a roll.
