The first Je Ngor restaurant was founded 11 years ago by Na-Chanok Sae-Ung who is of mixed Thai and Chinese descent. Despite being in her 70s she still trains the chefs herself to ensure they have mastered both styles of cooking. By far the most popular dish is raw prawns in fish sauce. If you wish to indulge in this Thai delicacy it is worth telephoning in advance as the prawns need to be eaten fresh and cannot be stockpiled. The menu gives a real taste of Thailand consisting primarily, but not exclusively, of seafood dishes. There is also a strong Chinese influence, both in the food and the decor, and fried sliced morning glory is a popular vegetarian option.

Je Ngor is located in the heart of Sukhumvit and offers affordable yet good quality Thai and Chinese food. The restaurant is particularly popular with Chinese and Japanese vistors.
