The signature starter, Indie fries,
consists of chickpea battered okra, and definitely
lives up to its recommendation. Another appetiser
worth ordering is keema samosas, a spiced mutton
and minced chicken pastry that's crunchy and filling.
You can't go wrong with shredded lamb kati wrap,
well seasoned and bursting with flavour. Neither does
kebab-e-malai disappoint, with barbecued, boneless
chicken marinated in yoghurt, cheese, coriander and
lime, served on a sizzling hot plate. Those who love
curry should definitely not miss out on Indus's murgh
makhani, or buttered chicken curry. Try this rich and
savoury dish with fragrant zaffrani pulao, a long-grain
saffron infused basmati rice, or a hearty order of naan.
Lavishly decorated with Indian-influenced art and plush seating, this restaurant is a good place to enjoy Kashmiri cuisine. With outdoor seating and private rooms, Indus is also an ideal location for hosting functions and parties. Service is attentive and polite, although menu and wine list knowledge can vary.
