Cool interior with contemporary look and feel. A riverside terrace provides an a slightly noisy outdoor alternative.

FOOD

Giorgio's offers almost a stereotypical Italian menu. Nothing too extravagant, but that does not detract from the food which comes in generous portions and is beautifully presented. Start with carpaccio di salmone, thin slices of cured fresh salmon beautifully complemented by rocket, capers, parmesan cheese and olive oil. For mains, risotto ai funghi, piselli e salsiccia is creamy, full of flavour and deinitely worth trying. Breaded veal with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese on a bed of baby corn, fried onions and mashed potato is a filling alternative. there is a limited selection of desserts, all Italian favourites. Millefoglie, delectably light, crispy pastry layers filled with mascarpone, crisp fresh strawberries and mint is a good choice.
