Located in Dream Hotel, Flava doubles as a Thai-Western fusion restaurant and a late-night lounge bar after the kitchen closes.
FOOD
The menu is split between Western and Thai and if dining in a group it is fun to order a selection from both if only to get the complimentary plate of Thai rice crackers and chicken satay with tumeric and coconut bread to start the meal. The Thai food is prepared in non-traditional ways. For example Thai fish cakes come chopped into small pieces covered with bean sprouts and a spicy mix of vegetables. Rice is not served in a bowl but in a pyramid on the plate. The Western dishes are generously filled with quality ingredients and have an appropriate amount of creativity. There are a limited number of desserts but not to be missed is sticky rice and date pudding with honey ice cream and two sauces.
