Try seared sesame crusted tuna
with soy, ginger and wasabi dressing; the Japaneseinspired
dish is refreshingly juicy and fragrant. Scallop
and salmon carpaccio with semi-dried tomato and
rocket leaves is a bit mild as far as taste goes, but
without question fresh. As for the main course, roasted
king scallops in shell with white wine and herb butter
is pleasing, although the portion is small. Pan-roasted
Japanese black cod with gobo, potato puree and miso
sauce is a recommended dish, with crisp skin and flesh
that will make you drool. Crispy skin salmon fillet with
gratin dauphinois and lobster sauce is perfectly cooked
inside and outside. Finish the meal with a dessert such
as dark chocolate and soft marshmallow tart.
A new seafood venue is always welcome in town. The simple, clean restaurant serving assorted dishes from the sea is decorated with glass, stones, wood and concrete, with small framed black and white photographs.
