FOOD

In a word: excellent. The restaurant makes its mark with food that is well prepared and presented. One only need look at the well-heeled Chinese and Thai clientele to know that you will get nothing but the best here. Seafood gets top billing on the menu. The menu reserves an entire page each for abalone, crab and scallops dishes. Mexican abalone and bamboo pith in clear soup makes a refreshing start. Follow it with regal scallops with XO sauce; a tasty and surprisingly sweet dish is crab claws with carrot sauce. There is a wide range of duck dishes too; marinated duck tongue and jelly fish nicely combines two completely different flavours with the essence of sesame oil. A wide variety of fish such as gobi, snowfish and garoupa is also available, prepared in both Thai and Chinese styles.
