This small Italian restaurant has just eight tables that sit snugly in the chapel-like building.

FOOD

It is almost impossible to resist starting with a selection of Italian cold cuts and cheeses for two which are lovingly hand-cut before your eyes by the owner who seems to size up his customers before deciding what to adorn the plate with. The restaurant is owned and managed by a father and son team who treats regular customers like a part of the family. Nicola Bonazza, the son, is happy to recommend the best dishes of the day. The home-made spaghetti is as good as any in Bangkok likewise risotto with sheep and cow truffle cheese. Meats and cheeses are flown in weekly from Italy and the style of cooking is as authentic Italian home cooking as it gets. The kitchen works late and diners receive a warm welcome even beyond the typical Bangkok dining hours. Desserts are specially good and the home-made ice creams should not be missed.
