FOOD

A decent-sized menu that offers plenty of DIY grill choices as well as regular fare available in other Japanese restaurants. Start off with house speciality, spicy beef soup, a piquant broth filled with pieces of meat that is an excellent warm up on a cold day. Skip the house salad that comes with cream sauce, and instead go for salad with soysauce. For mains the special beef menu offers an excellent choice of prime cuts; premium Australian wagyu and premium Japanese kobe being the pick of the lot. The special meat menu offers a nice lamb rack as well as horse meat, black pork and whale meat for the more adventurous palates. Seafood lovers will not be disappointed with the selection of cod, salmon and house speciality, yellowtail (hamachi). For those who like a bit of greens, onion, baby corn, pumpkin, eggplant, okra and bellpepper slices all await the grill.
