The short a la carte selection
focuses on European classics, such as starters of
duck foie gras and beef carpaccio; occasional brushes
with Asian flavours include teriyaki pork belly and a
variation on Thai larb made with forest mushrooms.
The fusion carries on into the main courses as green
curry perks up Maine lobster, although again these
experiments are outnumbered by standbys such as sea
bass with ratatouille and 150-day Australian tenderloin.
Warm chocolate tart and caramelised apples round
out the experience. Well-balanced tasting menus are
available at lunch and dinner for those who want to put
themselves at the chef's mercy.
Located at the Eugenia, a high-end boutique
hotel, DB Bradley offers diners the atmosphere of an
exclusive club. The main room overlooks a swimming
pool and Thai-style pavilion among lush greenery.
Service is excellent, staff courteous, attentive and
knowledgeable about the recently revamped menu as
well as the hotel and the restaurant.
