Inevitably diners will want to sample
a crepe or two, and the supreme and Sukhumvit
varieties are both recommended. But the menu covers
a wide range of Mediterranean cuisine, including pasta,
tajines (Moroccan stew-the lamb is especially good,
transporting you straight to Casablanca) and salads.
Gambas (prawns) and moussaka, a Greek cuisine
classic of eggplants, lamb and cheese, are two other
good choices. For dessert, you could do worse than
return to the crepes selection; Josephine, with banana,
vanilla, chestnuts and chocolate sauce, is a lovely way
to close the meal.
Near the end of the soi, Crepes & Co is set in an old Thai house and guests can enjoy a tropical garden. The cheerful atmosphere of the place makes it a place to visit and revisit; all-day brunch is a particular draw for regulars.
