The menu is an eclectic mixture of western fare from quesadillas and Australian meat pie to turkey burgers. However, the emphasis is on Italian cuisine with a variety of pasta and pizzas offerings. A light starter is caesar salad which is rich in bacon, parmesan and croutons. Diavola pizza, in addition to the intense flavour of spicy salami, exudes a soft fragrance of having been fired in a wood oven. Meat lovers can pick their choices of steak from Thailand to Argentina, but the winning dish is Australian wagyu rump steak. Cooked medium rare, it is a satisfying choice especially as it is sided with baked potato. Mediterranean sea bass is nicely presented on a bed of spinach, a healthy delight tossed in black olives and capers. Desserts range from lemon meringue pie to ice cream.

Setting

A converted home tucked away in a quiet soi off Sukhumvit 33. Fronted by a garden, the glass-enclosed bistro has a yellow bar located in a corner with colourful mosaic walls.
