On Siam Paragon's ground level, this high-ceilinged, simply decorated Italian restaurant is open, airy and relaxing.

FOOD

Chef Marco Camarrata says "fresh, simple, imported" best describes his philosophy. Belguardo's succulent regional Italian dishes filled with surprising flavours bear that out. Start with spring vegetables and goat cheese terrine, a smooth blend of colours and tastes. Seared sea scallops with herbs are a must-try, large, sweet scallops on an olive-chocolate tapenade, while double-sliced Australian tuna tagliata with fennel is a rich blend of full flavours. For pastas, spaghettini with portobello mushrooms and lemon zest is a melt-in-your-mouth slow revelation. For mains, grilled sea trout is divine, fleshy pink salty flakes atop green asparagus and marsala. Close with Belguardo's most popular dish, hot chocolate tortino with orange sherbet and white chocolate creme Anglaise.
