The food served at Arirang is
attractively presented, and service is a strong point.
Chicken ginseng broth makes a tasty starter, but
unfortunately the same cannot be said for that other
classic Korean dish, kimchi, which is less than potent.
Bibimbap (rice, beef and vegetables in a stone pot)
is another definitive speciality of this cuisine which
newcomers will be eager to taste. Seafood in spicy
sauce suffers from undercooked clams, but banana ice
cream redeems the meal a little.
An exterior featuring a quaint wooden water wheel turning over beautiful turquoise water is an attractive welcome to Arirang, a sister to the restaurant of the same name in Sukhumvit's Little Korea.
