French onion soup is certainly a
must-try; portion size is generous here and the cheese
simply melts in your mouth. Another recommended
dish is duck confit, which is definitely worth the extra
calories; its succulent meat and crispy exterior are
divine. The ingredient also crops up shredded in rocket
salad, which may be a healthier way to enjoy it. Beef
braised in red wine is a solid addition to the menu, even
if the excellent cut of meat is a little undercooked. The
steak fries accompanying it are delicious, with just the
right size and texture.
This little gem of a restaurant is beautifully decorated, in black, white and grey tones, reminiscent of a more romantic era. The staff is attentive without being overbearing and well-trained with regard to wine pairing and the different dishes on the menu.
