Tennis has picked up its momentum as a preferred sport among the younger generations, thanks to Tamarine Tanasugarn and Paradorn Srichaphan - the two pros who impressed the whole nation with their historic performances in the international arena. Not only the young, adults seem to pick up their interest on the sport as well. Luckily, tennis courts have popped up across the city, and most luxury hotels and serviced apartments do provide their own facilities. However, if there isn't one where you're staying, there are plenty of public tennis and squash courts throughout the city: in public parks, at universities or fitness centres. Note that some places do require membership, so make sure you check with the venue first.
