Siam Ocean World, Bangkok - Take a deep breath

The Seven (Aquatic) Wonders
Siam Ocean World takes you through seven different environments starting with 'Weird and Wonderful', an impressive collection of rare and curious-looking marine creatures such as pineapple fish, nautiluses, and gigantic spider crabs. The 'Deep Reef' features some of the most fascinating reef dwellers in the world. Learn how sea animals survive in the 'Living Ocean', and take a hike in the 'Rain Forest' where ancient lungfish, blind cave fish, giant water rats, and otters are on display.
Observe life on the shore in the 'Rocky Shore' zone and feel the skin of friendly starfish in a petting pond. Last but definitely not least is the star of Siam Ocean World's, the 'Open Ocean', Asia's largest panoramic oceanarium showcasing sharks of various types including ragged-tooth, black-tipped, leopard, stingrays, and giant groupers. Before you leave, don't forget to say adios to one of the most amazing creatures in the world in the 'Sea Jellies' zone.
Into the Blue
If just looking doesn't thrill you enough, you're welcome to dive into Siam Ocean World's 2.8 million litre oceanarium and meet marine life face-to-face, supported by fully-qualified instructors from Planet Scuba (don't forget to bring your swimming gear along). Couples with a flair for adventure can even get married right in the there! For the less adventurous, take a ride in a glass bottomed boat (150 baht), and see all the animals up close and personal - genuinely an unforgettable experience!
