Seacon Square, a 96 football-field sized entertainment centre, is one of Southeast Asia’s biggest malls. Apart from hundreds of shops and outlets selling everything a shopper's heart desires, including a huge IT mall, lots of family fun can be had on a rainy day at its indoor amusement park.
The mall features a mini-golf course and a 14-theatre multiplex cinema, as well as a motion 'simulator' theatre. Come here if you want to let your kids loose, while you do your shopping. As Seacon Square is only 14km from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, it's a fantastic place to really break loose before a long flight. Or if you have the energy and want to get your last kick out of Bangkok, join them.

Lifestyle Mall with a Huge Variety
Season Square offers five floors of retail space, including more than 400 specialty shops, a huge IT section on the ground floor and 15 anchor stores such as Tesco Lotus, Robinson Department Store, Seacon Fashion Mall, Office Depot and Tops Supermarket. A food court occupies the fourth floor, overlooking the main atrium, with up to 30 shops offering a good range of Thai and Asian fare. Similar to the food court, a Food Market on the ground floor embodies a street-side cuisine concept and features some 20 vendors selling street-style nibbles and snacks.
The IT section at Seacon Square is a major highlight, as it’s the largest centre for computer gadgets, parts and accessories east of downtown Bangkok. Electronics geeks and hobbyists will feel at home at Klongtom Seacon on the third floor, which offers all kinds of electronic parts, toys, watches, mobile phones and Hi-Fi equipment.
For clothing and fashion accessories, the 5,000sqm Seacon Fashion Mall and Siam Seacon on the second floor houses over 300 specialty shops offering both designer labels and local independent brands. Other highlights include a range of beauty shops, day spas, gold shops, furniture stores and home décor outlets.
Entertainment for the Entire Family
A family-friendly mall, Seacon Square dedicates its entire fourth floor to family entertainment. Yoyoland, a 10,000sqm indoor amusement park, has a host of fun rides and games for small to pre-teen kids (it even has a Ferris wheel and mini-golf). The 14-screen Grand EGV multiplex comes with two Gold Class theatres, each with its own box office, cosy reclining sofas and other luxuries such as blankets, pillows and warm socks.
All in all, shopping at Seacon Square is a satisfying experience, particularly for those who prefer diversity over luxury. It’s one of the first malls that caters to a large variety of interests and spearheads the idea of size does matter when it comes to shopping.
