Central Plaza Rama 9 brings a ‘one-stop lifestyle entertainment shopping’ concept to the Ratchadapisek area. The seven-story shopping plaza houses some 300 shops, plus restaurants, cafés, SFX Cineplex, The Rink Ice Arena and anchor stores such as B2S, Power Buy, Uniqlo and Robinson Department Store. Occupying a prime location at the intersection of Rama IX and Ratchadapisek Roads, Central Plaza Rama 9 has direct access to the MRT underground’s Rama IX Station at the basement level. The combined eight floors of retail space offer everything from clothing, fashion accessories, beauty salons and day spas to electronic gadgets, appliances, music and books. And if all this were not enough, the attached Robinson Department Store provides an additional five floors of similar offerings, plus a section dedicated to home décor and children’s toys.

Highlights at Central Plaza Rama 9
Entering the shopping plaza from the MRT underground station, the basement level begins with the E Center (IT and mobile phone shops), B2S books and magazine section, Fashion Plus (ladies’ fashion and accessories by independent local brands) and Tops Supermarket. The ground floor features a Uniqlo store, MUJI as well as surf and sportswear by various brands such as Adidas, Billabong, Quiksilver and Body Glove.
Fashion for men, women and teens as well as accessories such as watches, jewellery, travel gear, shoes and spa products are all housed on the first, second and third floors. There’s a good mix of affordable and high-end brands, including AIIZ, MANGO, Dorothy Perkins, Swarovski, North Face, Hush Puppies, Marks & Spencer, ESP, GAP and Samsonite. Lifestyle products, such as books, health and beauty, music, computers, gadgets and stationery, are housed on the fourth and fifth floors. You will find iStudio, Asia Books, Sony, Life, day spas and a large variety of banks on these two levels.
The sixth and part of the seventh floors are dedicated to food, and Japanese cuisine seems to be popular among visitors here. Yoshinoya brings 100-year-old Japanese-style ‘meat over rice’ recipes to Bangkok, others are familiar chains such as Fuji, Pepper Lunch, Zen, Black Canyon, S&P, MK, BBQ Plaza and Sukishi. Pasta de Waraku on the seventh floor serves up a creative selection of Japanese-style pastas, pizzas and curries, with exciting fusion flavours. For ice creams and desserts, there’s Cold Stone Cremery and Swensens’.
