Restaurant and Bar

Cotton Jazz Bar the hippest and jazziest venue in Bangkok’s China Town. From the incredible design that harkens back to the romance of 1930’s Shanghai, a time when great jazz artists were featured in the best clubs in the city to the elegance and intimacy of 1950’s underground nightclubs in New York, Chicago and Paris.

Cotton has found the best Thai jazz artists to do their thing, including Siam Band, Harmony and our new favorite, Marshmallow; each playing all types of jazz, from avante-garde to bebop to jazzy interpretations of classic pop songs (think about Coltrane’s “My favorite Things!).

Open daily from 6:30 - 10:30 with amazing specials, drinks you can create yourself and fun foods from the kitchen that occasionally starts popping popcorn. Come join us and lose yourself in great music, freshly minted cocktails, fine wine and food. Step up to Cotton, conveniently located in the center of Bangkok in Chinatown.

Have a Walking Tour

in the Chinatown Yaowarat district which used to be Bangkok’s entertainment hub during the early 19th century when Thais first started to enjoy eating out. It was considered chic for young people dating to be seen “eating Chinese” around here. There are numerous markets, food shops, restaurants, Chinese sausages shops, old Chinese herbalists, gold shops, old Chinese Shrines and old buildings.

At night, the road is transformed into a street of delectable restaurants with a wide variety of food: noodles, rice and curries, rice soup, shark’s fin soup, bread, seafood, pan-roasted hazel nuts, juices, fruits and desserts. Several shops have been in business for generations, retaining their original flavor and heritage for more than 100 years.

Marvel at the Shopping
