Where is it?

The Chaophaya is based out in Lad Prao on Ratchadapisek Road, just a five-minute walk from the MRT and a 20-minute drive from Chidlom. While the property is situated slightly out of town, accessing commercial zones such as a Silom and Sukhumvit via MRT is a hassle-free and efficient transport option.

Nearby attractions include an array of lively entertainment venues where revelers can enjoy Bangkok’s vibrant nightlife till the early hours. Cultural attractions are a bit thin on the ground within the area but again, easily accessed if sought after.

What are the Rooms like?

The hotel offers an extensive choice of guestrooms, from the economical Superior Room to Deluxe and Corner rooms to ostentatious Suites. With as many as nine room styles, there will be something to accommodate either group or individual stays.

The minimum size of rooms is 37sqm with standard amenities including IDD telephones, satellite TV, electronic control panel board, and safety deposit box with internet connection. The more luxurious accommodation choices such as the Executive and Chaophaya Suites have butler service, perfect for the business or honey moon traveller.

The use of the private lounge is just one of the benefits of taking an elevated luxury suite, from which the sprawling panoramic vistas of Bangkok offer a memorable start to the day. The Private Lounge includes complimentary business facilities and refreshments in lavish surroundings. Set adjacent to the main hotel building, guests cross the car park to access the spa. Treatments are followed by a relaxation period in the lobby where tea and some traditional Thai sweets are served, fusing accents of Thai culture with that of Bali’s, to charming effect. The in-house restaurants reflect the diverse clientele of the hotel, with everything from Japanese buffet, Mori Grill (delicious) to the Italian Al Massimo. Dining options are as follows:

Mori Grill

Mori Grill is situated on the first floor and looks out over the opulent lobby area. The buffet-style restaurant features generic Japanese fare, including sushi, fish and meat steaks and zesty fruits, all of which come highly recommended. The contemporary Japanese-inspired interior adds another dimension to the hotel's attractive décor.

Park Café

The hotel's all-day eatery where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served offers an array of western and classic Asian treats. 'Variety is the spice of life' and Park Café certainly follows this mantra with a feast of BBQ meats, authentic Thai fare, seafood and a la carte dishes.

Garden Court
