Combing shopping, sightseeing and – in most cases – snacking, floating market tours rank high on many visitors’ agenda. Damneon Saduak remains the mother of all floating markets, although some may find it a bit touristy. Smaller floating markets, such as Amphawa and Tha Kha have gained increasing popularity. Amphawa is, to a certain degree, a modernised version of Damnoen Saduak, but it has a more local feel. For a peaceful floating market scene, head over to Tha Kha Floating Market. Read the Floating Market Tour Reviews to get a feel of each of them before you go.
