If you're coming to Bangkok to shop then there really isn't a better option, just walk through the door and you will find 500 shops over 7 floors with a range of international and Thai brands as well as a cinema and kids edutainment zone. Add to that the proximity to Siam Square, Siam Center, MBK and Siam Paragon; it really is a shopaholics dream. The hotel is also connected via a covered walkway to the sky train at Chit Lom, the walk there will take around ten minutes, taking you past the Erawan Shrine where you might catch a glimpse of traditional Thai dancing as a thanks for good luck.

Centre Point Pratunam has a prime spot on Petchaburi Road, minutes from the shopping malls that line this famous street in the district of Pratunam. As well as enough markets, boutiques and giant mega malls to enable most people to shop till they drop, there is also a selection of local and Indian restaurants, massage shops and Bangkoks tallest building, the sight of the city beneath your feet from the viewing platform is breathtaking. Despite being amongst this hubbub the hotel is on a quiet side street, the perfect balance between location and tranquillity. To connect to the sky train network, the walk is around ten minutes. The hotel has a fantastic level of safety, with reception manned 24 hours a day, well-trained doormen and lift key cards, but it is also a welcoming and friendly place where staff will do their best to meet any extra requirements.

Standing on Petchaburi Road amongst the hustle and bustle of Pratunam its hard to believe that you could find a quiet spot in this part of Bangkok. Thankfully, seven floors above Shibuya 19 Shopping Mall you will find Glow Pratunam, a calm, modern hotel that almost makes you forget about the stressful city below. Friendly staff greet you as soon as you step out of the lift, and just past reception you will find Luna Sky Garden Cafe, an all day dining outlet where you can enjoy freshly cooked food whilst enjoying a view of the small garden; just what you need in this urban jungle. Head up the stairs on the terrace and you will find the pool, perfect for lounging by after a morning checking out the sights.
The location is fantastic if you are hoping to shop till you drop in Pratunams many malls and markets, with only a ten minute walk to the BTS to explore the rest of Bangkok. The rooms at Glow Pratunam start on the 10th floor, meaning everyone is guaranteed their own view of Bangkoks night-time cityscape, maximised with floor to ceiling windows. The rooms are themed around the seasons, green hints for spring, and orange and gold for autumn, adding a bit of flair to these comfortable wooden floored spaces. Each room comes with a work desk with international adapters, flat screen television with international channels and a comfortable couch. The bed, however, is in another league, with soft sheets, two pillow types and a fluffy mattress cover. You are guaranteed to wake up refreshed at Glow Pratunam; just make sure you rise in time for the delicious international buffet breakfast!
