Serving up a high quality of cuisine, the prices on the mostly western menu are higher than the Walking Street average, with spaghetti Bolognese costing 199 baht, Angus beef tenderloin with port sauce and wok-fried vegetables costing 699 baht and sashimi sets costing 329 baht. The choice of cakes and pastries is particularly noteworthy and worth a taste.

Food Fair Seafood Restaurant
Food Fair is a two-floor seafood eatery similar in style to the likes of the better-known King Seafood and Lobster Pot. Able to accommodate up to 600 patrons at once, it is one of the largest seafood restaurants in Pattaya, but still has a pretty good quality of furnishing and cutlery and a pleasant airy setting with views over Pattaya Bay. The food, as the name suggests, is fair – fair prices for over 200 fair quality Thai and western dishes, including a tasty seafood platter for 2,500 baht, with enough crab, fish, rock lobster, prawns and calamari to feed five people.
King Seafood Pattaya
King Seafood is one of the best-known Walking Street seafood restaurants, which is hardly surprising given that it has been there for decades, has a very brightly-lit frontage and is situated directly under the red windmill of the Moulin Rouge go-go bar. They serve up a huge menu of reasonably-priced dishes in a variety of international styles, with a great view out of the back of the restaurant across Pattaya Bay. Being quite a large and busy place, some people have found the service is sometimes lacking, but most people have a very enjoyable experience.

La Notte Pub and Restaurant
La Notte is a very chic European-style jazz bar and restaurant. The cuisine is predominantly French, but with a heavy Italian accent, and is expertly combined with an extensive wine and cocktails menu and professional service. The main dining room has an almost art deco look to it while the candlelit terrace at the back has a more romantic air. Prices are quite reasonable for such a premier seafront location on Walking Street and such good quality ingredients, with set seven-course menus costing starting at around 1,790 baht per person.
L’Italiano Italian Restaurant & Pub
L’Italiano has been open in the middle of Walking Street for nearly a decade, serving up great high-quality Italian cuisine in a stylish setting. There is a limited selection of Thai dishes to choose from and a huge array of nearly 50 Italian wine labels.
Lobster Pot Pattaya
Renowned for their fresh shell fish and seafood, Lobster Pot is popular thanks to its large decking which has views over Pattaya Bay and out into the Gulf of Thailand. Like their competitors – King and Fair Food – their menu is huge and includes a wide range of international preparations. The most popular choice is the seafood platter, which includes fish, mussels, crabs, prawns, cockles, calamari and more, priced at 1,260 baht to feed one person or 2,130 baht to feed two.

Found right next to the famous nightclub of the same name, Marine Seafood is probably the cheapest of the big seafood restaurants on Walking Street. It has a terrace with a good view of Pattaya Bay and tanks displaying the fresh ingredients by the entrance for the huge choice of Thai and international preparations, much like the others of its ilk. Marine is set apart by the high quality of the service, with the servers generally having a good mastery of English. Among the most popular dishes are the seafood platter or the curried crab.
Mehfil Indian Mujra Restaurant & Bar
Mehfil Indian Mujra Restaurant is a Mumbai-style cross between a restaurant and a cabaret show. Featuring exotic Indian dance performances, there is an entry fee of around 250 baht, which includes a free drink. Once inside, you can enjoy the cuisine of subcontinent with the entertainment. The food is a little on the expensive side, but the highly skilled dancers go some way towards justifying the expense.
Nang Nual Restaurant
Among the many large seafood restaurants on Walking Street, Nang Nual is remarkable for having two dining areas – one on either side of the street. Both parts of this highly renowned restaurant have quite a romantic atmosphere, though the seaview terrace is clearly the superior choice. As with most similar restaurants you can see the freshness of the ingredients by the fact that many of them are still swimming around in large tanks by the entrance. Prices, quality and service and Nang Nual are all generally very good.

New York Diner
Brought to you by the same people who run Club Insomnia (which is just a few doors away), New York Diner has an access route through the back directly into the iBar section of the club. The diner opened in August 2014 in the place which used to be the venerable Don Joe Italian restaurant and serves an impressive selection of American cuisine, including high-quality burgers, breakfasts, salads, pasta and even a small selection of Thai dishes. Prices are a little higher than average, but the good ingredients and preparation and the great service and surroundings justify it. It’s also open all night for those post party hunger pains.

The restaurant for this old guesthouse specialises in low-cost cuisine with steak available from just 250 baht, fish and chips for 170 baht and chicken wings for 140 baht. Sea Zone Pattaya
As the bright neon frontage of Sea Zone boasts, it is a “very nice place”. One of the many seafront seafood restaurants along Walking Street, the neon signs are not lying as it is widely regarded as one of the nicer ones. They have a big menu of Thai and international preparations, with notable options including crabs in cheese and rock lobsters in garlic. Lobster is 400 baht per 100g (250 baht per 100g if you have a frozen one), so be careful that you check how much the lobster you pick weighs or you might get a nasty surprise with the bill.
Siam Elephant Bar & Restaurant
The Thai restaurant of the Siam Bayshore Resort and Spa, Siam Elephant is located right at the Bali Hai end of Walking Street. It has a look and feel which is both traditional and sophisticated, making it probably the smartest restaurant on the road. The authentic Thai curries are particularly noteworthy, as are the tom khai kai (spicy chicken soup with coconut milk) and hor mok talay (steamed mixed seafood cake). Naturally, being probably the highest of high-end establishments, the price range is also higher than most places around it.
