    Most Popular Pattaya Nightclubs

Pattaya is full of so many nightclubs, it justly deserves its title as a party city. Walking Street especially – the famous 800-metre-long off-shoot of Beach Road – is literally lined with clubs, pubs and go-gos, and once the bars all close for the night, everyone has one thing on their mind: carry on the party in one of the best clubs on Walking Street!

Among our list of the 10 Best Nightclubs in Pattaya, you will find a number of different themes and styles. Largely focussing on house, EDM, hip hop and R’n’B music, the bass keeps pumping until very late, and – because this is Pattaya – the girls working in the clubs are often gorgeous. Furthermore, the vast majority of Pattaya nightclubs have no cover charge so you get all this fun for free!

With over 900sqm of floor separated into two spaces, Mixx is one of the biggest nightclubs in Pattaya, as well as the most popular. Upon entering (for free), you can either turn left into the Rouge Club or right into the Crystal Palace. The first of these has a luxurious historic-style décor with modern hip hop and R&B music playing. The Crystal Palace plays house and trance tracks with a large dancefloor and private booths for groups that buy a top-shelf bottle. Its popularity with a fun-loving party crowd (as well as top international DJs) means that it gets busy early and stays that way until the early morning. Read More...

    The Pier Disco Club Pattaya

A close contender for the title of best nightclub in Pattaya, The Pier is among the newer names on Walking Street, but rapidly rose to becoming one of the most popular. Its mutli-level interior contains more laser lights, disco balls and smoke machines than any of its competitors, as well as a state-of-the-art sound system playing house and trance music. There is a giant LED screen behind the DJ booth, which is regularly the home of big-names from across Asia, Ibiza and the US. It is only relatively high drinks prices which keeps The Pier from topping our list.

    Candy Shop

The open-fronted Candy Shop club is an old favourite of Walking Street. With a large central bar, comfy seating out front, a pool table at the back and live hip hop groups playing on a central stage, it is arguably more a bar than a club. In spite of quite a limited amount of dancing space in front of the stage, however, Candy Shop has a buzzing, infectious vibe which makes it a popular place with people who want to dance and party.

    808 Nightclub

Located directly above Candy Shop, 808 mirrored The Pier’s astronomic rise to popularity, becoming a firm favourite of locals, expatriates and tourists alike. The long room is divided up into a lot of small enclaves across multiple levels, rising up and out from the central bar. It gives you and your friends a little bit of privacy in the crowded club, though it can make dancing a little tricky. 808 is known for its crazy parties and top DJs playing great house music.

    • Opening Hours: 20:00 – 02:00
    • Location: Above Candyshop, Walking Street, South Pattaya

Club Insomnia is found above iBar, about halfway down Walking Street. A relatively old name in the city’s clubbing scene, it is very popular with locals and tourists, not least because it is said to have the hottest hostesses in town! It’s relatively small size, coupled with that popularity, means that it gets quite crowded quite quickly which, along with relatively high drinks prices, can put some people off. The EDM and big room house anthems, along with regular themed parties, give the places a very lively atmosphere. Read More...

    Marine Disco

Having been towards the southern end of Walking Street for decades, Marine Disco is a favourite of the clubbing scene. The look and sound systems are kept fresh, so the place really doesn’t look like it was actually established in the 1980s – a fact which is particularly apparent from the giant LED screen on the outside of the building. Known among clubbers as a professional, friendly establishment, it plays great trance and EDM, with live bands also sometimes taking the stage. It is said to be particularly popular with ladyboys, though is also a big hit with locals and expatriates.

    Lucifer Disko TK

The distinctive ‘devil’ statue at the entrance welcomes you into the cavern-like interior of what is widely considered to be the top place in Pattaya for hip hop and R&B. You will also regularly find live bands and skilled DJs playing. The relatively small club-part of the establishment is past a bar area with pool tables and a Latino vibe by the entrance, which sometimes even has a second group playing. It is an extremely popular venue, in part because of its distinctive and iconic neon signage, and it gets very busy. It’s generally a lively and friendly crowd, though, making it a fun place to party.

    Endorphin Pattaya

One of the newest nightclubs on Walking Street – opening in December 2014 – Endorphin did not quite match the astronomic rise of other recent openings, but it is still a lively and popular addition to the scene. It has a bright and colourful design, with cutting-edge light and sound systems. Divided into three areas, one of which is a chill-out section, the club plays house and EDM and has quite an impressive claim to fame – an electronic sliding roof, which can retract on clear nights. It’s a unique way to enjoy a full moon party in Pattaya!

    • Opening Hours: 21:00 – 05:00
    • Location: 139/15 Walking Street, South Pattaya

    LimaLima Pattaya

Located underneath Mixx Discotheque at the very southern end of Walking Street, LimaLima has seen big-name artists grace its DJ booths, including Fedde Le Grand, Boy George and Steve Aoki. It has two areas, one playing dance and techno while the other pumps out hip hop beats. Its impressive size (it’s one of the biggest clubs in Pattaya), convenient location, high-class look and relatively cheap drinks makes it particularly popular with tourists.

    • Opening Hours: 19:00 - late

Formerly known as Tony’s Entertainment Complex and as Abyzz Club, Ankor (also known as Tony’s Indian Club) is still a part of Tony’s Group, best known for owning a number of gyms around the city. Oddly enough, that also includes this place, which has a swimming pool and workout facilities. In addition, there is a ground floor chill-out and shisha lounge, with an upstairs disco. The upstairs area also has a balcony overlooking Walking Street. The disco has an ostentatious South Asian/Middle Eastern theme, with Michelangelo-style ceiling murals, and naturally attracts a lot of tourists from that part of the world.
